somehow, its just like taking me forever to get in the mood to blog cause it just isn't happening.

change of sleeping hours also though.
it was like right before school ended, I've been sleeping at unearthly hours, cause have been in school rushing assignment till like late, which means coming home late, which means sleeping late. its like a chain reaction.
sleeping at 2 plus in the morning before school ended to sleeping at 4 plus in the morning after school ended (the latest is like 4:45am?) is doing me no good. this is like causing me to sleep till like 12ish in the afternoon, or rather noon. okay that aside.

somehow, I'm just plain glad that school's over. with all the politics looming over the class and its just Year 1. great! another two more years. Make things clear here, I'm not wanting to bitch about anyone, but its like I got two super screwed up groups for my Final Projects for TWO core modules. okay, not to say two groups, but two screwed up classmates in the group, which totally makes it hard to work with.

One forgot his role in the group, and mind you it was a super important role! the director eh! did not make it for discussions due to personal plans, when all the rest of the crew tries to push thier plans aside; left all the paper work to the rest of the crew, mainly the Producer, Assistant Producer and Assistant Director(in which I took both roles), and it totally left me stressed up right up to the core. those who knew can vouch for that; church members would ask me for a couple of weeks straight 'eh, why you look so stress? Can don't look so stress not?' well, it wasn't like I wanted to look stress.
Screwed up the second and third day of shoot. not knowing what was going on with the storyboard, shotlist, not controlling the cast, failed to check the framing of some shots in some scenes. put it in short, Failed as a director. All these just made editing even harder, but the only positive thing that came out of editing was that I happy with my version of edit. Having got a super reliable edit-mate, even though she hates audio to the core. So i took good care of audio, and I'm damn happy!
there's a whole whole lot more of things after production that made things worse. a video and its comments but i'm not gg to say all here eh, and the worse thing is he made things personal, against me! comments directed straight at me.

now just a brief glimpse of the comments made:

- "aye aye !who developed story ah ! SWWWWEEEAAAARRRRWWOOOORRDDDDDD...." (classmate to him)

- "guys guys guys, i was tired hungry totally mindfucked when i did this, most of the stuff i bullshitted on the spot."(him)

- "i could have, but then i'd have to insult you to your face, as usual. come on lah we're all self centered at times. this video is just one of those times. get over it. more mature." (him to me, note that I bolded and italised the two words, cause sometimes he just tends to forgot that I'm actually older then him, two years older then him)

- ".....If you love making films, and you want to actually have something worth out of it, then change. And regarding the connecting well with producer? I do remember an episode where you banged the table and glared at me when i was merely asking you why we were taking the shot. WHICH I HAD EVERY RIGHT TO, as a producer...."(classmate to him)

- "...please be more rational and think before you do things. some things when put out can never be taken back again. that's how it works and something you need to learn. being hungry and tired is never an excuse." (classmate to him)

- "and as you're working in the media, you should know better than anyone to mind what you're putting on something so open like facebook. senseless really." (classmate to him)



okay!! that case aside.

and the other project. This group mate of mine TRIED to take ALL THE CREDITS, saying that he did ALL the animation for a 15 second clip, and mind you, we were presenting to our classmates, our own lecturer and 3 other lecturers! It was like the moment he mention "I did all the animation", my classmates told me that my nad my the other groupmate's facial expression changed immediately, like to 'wth!'
okay the truth was he did most of the animation and i know I and my other groupmate did our parts for the animation. But why did he end up doing most of it? cause after we did out parts, we passed it to him to continue and he was using a freaking different version of After Effects, which meant that when he tried to pass it to use to touch up, we could not open it. so, naturally, he had to finish up the rest.
BUT the thing was my other groupmate and I, we did almost all the planning for the the pre-production, storyboard and all & really thank God for Peer Evaluation, cause my lecturer asked why did it seem that THAT groupmate of mine did almost all the work, and its like apparently my other groupmate and I gave him a higher percentage of work done as compared to our own percentage. did the explanation.. the spliting up of work.. pasw to him.. different format.. blahblahblah (straight right back into his face! the truth and nothing but the truth!)


okay. my apologies for such a wordy post, up till now cause I had no idea it would become like this.
guess i'll stop right here, cause I have to be up by 9am tomorrow and its coming to 2am and yet to prepare some stuff for the bbq.
