guess i shall just blog for the sick of blogging?
cause i have got totally nothing to blog abt..just tat i will be going for church camp tomorrow..i know i blogged on it already; but no harm saying it again right??haha..well..will be bringing my laptop there, for entertainment reasons..so hopefully there will be some wireless connection tat i can connect to then i can go online!! haha
emm..i totally nothing to blog on..so guess i shall just end.. maybe i might blog later if i have thought of stuff to blog about..

alright, i know..i know..my blog's kinda dead after not updating it for like more then a week.
oh..and my mid year L1R4 is 29 points. not 30, counted wrongly.

its so fast. 1 term of school for me has just past liddat.and before i know it..again. Os will be here again..well..in fact just had my first paper yesterday..wasnt tat difficult, hopefully can do well for listening compre and oral, and get a B at least..if its an A it would be good..then my dad wont be like asking me to retake it.. well..actually, i would like an A also..hah..like who doesnt want it..haha

happened to be reading someone's blog and the person mentioned tat prelims will be in september, and there after study break then O levels..which means it will be kinda fast?? after my birthday in august, then bro's birthday in september, parents birthday in october will be around the O level period..i think..or might be just before it. just a couple of importants dates and it will be over..how wonderful!!

holidays are here..and just last year, parents were in canada for their sabatical..and i was like on the com for pratically 24/7..and now as i think back..it was so wrong of me to do it..for three whole months i spent my day in school, afternoon, night and even midnight on the com..until they came back. guess those actions played a part in my mid year results and O level..not having the key thing to studying- Discipline.

church camp is this thursday till sunday. and i shall make this promise to myself. play hard during church camp and then study hard for the rest of the holidays..well just 1 week of studying cause the last week need to go back to school. and i will make sure tat it happens.

got to learn from the experience tat i had last year. and tat is to start preparing already and not study half for prelims and then study the rest for O levels..tat is totally wrong..so if anyone is reading my blog and you are also taking Os this year..dun ever use this strategy to study, cause there wont be enough time to cover everything..yup..

guess tats abt it?? and i am just plain lazy to update on wat happen for the past 8 days so dun bother asking me to update on those days..and i am going to change my blog skin..getting tired on this layout already..

verification of marks today
confirmed total L1 R4 for me, with those subs tat i din take is 30 points
yup..
some kind soul has set a target of 15 points for me for prelims, in which i dun think she will ever visit here..haha..
well..i will do my best to achieve tat target for prelims, and also for Os
to start with, first paper is next monday, mt paper
and i am so not prepared for it even though i do not know how did i mange to get a B4 for my mt
guess its through God's grace

another couple more days of mt intensive class
and hopfully i wont need to touch chinese again for the rest of the year in school, even though i will have to touch it in church..haha

guess tats abt it? cant think of anything else to blog on.

got back the rest of my results today
once again totally not sastisfiying at all..totally
shant talk much about it

just my results

Combined Science - 43.9

History - 18/50 (my SBQ pulled me down, SEQ quite sastified cause got 12 marks)
Social Studies - 18/50 (SEQ pulled me down)
Combined Humanities - 36/100

English Oral for prelims - 15/20

so the total results (for those papers that i din take i will use my O level grades)

English - B3
MT - B4
Combined Science - E8
Maths - C6
Combined Humanities(SS, History) - F9

which means my L1R4 aggregate is - 30 points
which isnt tat good, as i would have wanted better marks; but compared to last year's grades, i improved. cause last year i got 37 points for L1R4 yup...
shall continue to work hard..for at least 15 points..yup..tats my target, even though my dad set a target of 5-As for me..which will mean at least 10 points..yup..

tats abt it

i will let nature take its course,

got back some of my results today..

an i am TOTALLY NOT satisfied with the outcome
not tat say i did very badly; well..i passed
but it wasnt up to my expections..actually its just for maths
shall eleborate later on..

got back my Mother Tongue paper; and here's the breakdown of the marks

Paper 1

25/50(Composition)

13/20(Letter Writing)

Paper 2

34/70

Listening Comprehension

20/20

Oral

29/40

Total - 121/200 = 60.5

= B4

an improvement compared to wat i got for my O levels; first a C6 then a C5...now i get a B4. Hopefully i get better or a B4 for the paper this year. yup

let me get 1 thing straight before you contine to read;

i am NOT looking down on other people who did worse then me neither am i saying tat those who fared better then me does not deserve it..this is how i feel for myself. if you are not happy with the comments tat i will be typing out, i suggest tat you stop reading, and dun try to spam me. i have made my stand..so do not be offended if the following 'breakdown' of comments happen to offend you.

then got back my maths paper

first was Paper 2 - got 59/100

was quite happy, fact being tat i felt two questions empty; and after the paper found out tat i could actually do it and since the highest was 63/100 or 66/100(cant remember)..it was quite okay for me

okay..nvm

then got back my Paper 1 - got 42/80

it totally pulled my marks down; not only tat but my mood also

how on earth did i get such lousy marks; my standard of course.

okay..NVM..NVM..

then started going through the papers then i started to get pissed off with myself and disappointed.

why so??

let me tell you why!!

if i had known how to do those two questions during the paper, in which i definetly would know how to do if i could see wat was required, and with all the careless mistakes, not reading the question properly and not making the changes to the question when there was a typo error(as i was to engrossed in the paper; and it cost me 3 marks), i could have got back at least..let me repeat..at least 11 marks..tats ELEVEN marks, for my Paper 2..which whould have pushed my marks up to 74/100..

okay..tats not the end..went through Paper 1..and i had careless mistakes all around, adding up to a total of 9 marks..which could have pushed my marks up to 51/80.

for all these; i am not happy with myself..seriously not happy

and now here's the difference of the marks.

if i take my original marks and convert it to 100%

59/100 + 42/80 = 101/180

101/180 x 100% = 56.1%

and if i take the marks tat were 'pushed up'..

74/100 + 51/80 = 125/180

125/180 x 100% = 69.4%

see the difference?!?!?

a difference of 13.3% which is the difference between a C6 and a B3(potentially an A2)

tats why i am so darn disappointed and angry with myself.

hopefully the rest of my results will be okay, meaning physics and combined humanities which i will be getting back tomorrow..i think..yup..

so i shall just summarise on those days tat i din blog on, mainly on my exams..yup

did not sit for my english paper cause wasnt feeling well..not tat i did not wan to sit for it..yup..haha

Physics paper 2 was not bad- managed to answer all the questions
did not take my Chemistry paper 2 cause was having fever..yup
then Science paper 1 was okay la..not say very hard

totally screwed up my chinese paper 1..think i wrote out of point..shows how unprepared i am for my O level paper..
Chinese paper 2..i think i screw up also..just take it tat i screwed up my chinese this exam la..

Social Studies was relatively okay,
Source-based was quite easy..got the hang of it
Structured-essay; i spotted the question correctly- Singapore Industrial Development, but i could not remember all the points..yup

History was okay also
Source-based was a little harder then the SS paper
Structured-essay; i spotted topic correctly again- War in the Pacific, think i will fare quite well..hopefully

so it was like the sbq for hist was harder then SS, but the seq for SS was harder for hist..yup..hopefully it balances up and i can score well for my Humanities

Maths was relatively okay..
could do both papers; meaning Paper 1 & 2
but felt a little stupid tat i could not figure out 1 whole question in paper 2, and its like when the paper finish i saw wat they were asking for la..the question is like worth 13 marks, i think
and its like you cant get part (a), means you cant do part (b), (c)..etc so the whole question was empty..heh
and if i manage to get a B for my maths, i will be happy already, cause its like harder then O level paper..yup

emmm..my laptop just suddenly became okay..hav no idea why

here's wat happened
on saturday night, planned to bring my laptop for repairs the next day which is sunday
then thought just try again see if can work not
to my surprise can..but using half way the same thing happen again
it just shut down on me then cant switch it on already
maybe it wanted me to sleep la..i figured..haha

then sunday brought it out with me to church
then on the bus(cause dad had to leave early, so took the bus), i tried
it was okay, din die on me
up till now still okay
so i figured tat its okay already los
