woke up relativley late today.
at like about 4.
been lazing ever since.
since i did nothing much, i shall just reply the tags. yup.

SELENE : alright. froggie and the drumset is still around but the photos on my window are removed already. oh okay, we shall go see donut one day, alright? haha. and how was the outcome in shopping for dresses? =/

Chingying : i agree with you, but right now its quite hard. especially when my brian is kinda rusted up ever since Os finished but i will be thinking, soon. its just a matter of time. haha. yeah, people interested in donut ONLY. hah. kidding!! and i dun think i will die if i jump around in tiny circles and lose my balance. i think at the most i will break a bone or two. lol. and i shall judge for myself to see if donut is black or brown!! haha oh and btw, VV's not my dog. she's my family dog. so there!!

haven been blogging recently. fact is that i have been quite lazy lately, just pure laziness.

guess i will just do a quick update.

23rd Feb, Friday, 2008

got woken up at about 12 plus, close to 1. was doing some stuff and on my lappy from about 2 to 5 plus. had my dinner after that, which is considered very early if you know me well enough.prepared to go down to church for music practice. changed the time at the last minute. left home at about 6:30pm. stopped by the atm downstairs, check balance. reached interchange and i missed the bus. that was at 7:15pm. was thinking to myself, 'the next bus shouldnt take too long to come' but i was wrong. i waited for 30 long minutes before the bus came, and within that period of time, approx 4-5 buses for 293, 969, 22, 31 and 65 came in and left. was damn freaking pissed, took 30 freaking minutes. music practice was suppose to start at 8:30pm, and i was suppose to take the bus around 7:30. i only boarded the bus at 7:45pm, like obviously i was late. reached at 8:45pm. was feeling hungry, considered packing food in, but had second thoughts cause thought they might have started already. in the end, i reach, they haven even pray. i was literally wth la. =/ practice ended at 10:30 plus. reached back tampines at 11 plus. decided to have dinner at eugene's place the coffee shop there, meaning blk 802 there. reached home at 11:30 plus. bro passed me two new cds.

got woken up by my mum. couldnt go out, for some reasons.
spend the whole day on the com, playing game and watching tv.
then talked on the phone till about 2 plus. slept after that.

woke up on time, left home slightly earlier today at about 9. macs at interchange, had it on the bus. and i reached church late. its like when i leave home late, i will reach on time and when i leave home early or on time, i will be late. -.-
oh, and while i was walking to the sanctuary when i reached church, at the carpark. saw nat and andrea alighting from the car. nat saw me, waved at her, cause my earphones were plugged in, like as usual. then andrea saw me. dunno did she get a shock or what la. to me, she looked like i gave her a fright or what.
like okayyy!! blah.

praise and worship was relatively good. sermon was okayyy. was really paying attention. =/ lunch after service as usual. decided to go play lan after that. in the end played for like quite long. dinnered then came back, not too long ago. yup.

guess that's about it. oh a random thought. i'm like listening to Every Little Thing by Delirious? and i remembered the video. it was very touching during the song and audience and all.
will see if i can post it here. yup.

got woken up by my dad at about 8 plus to check my jae posting, but i didnt wake up.
woke up eventually at 10 plus. three msges.
one from abi, one from melissa the other one from moe.
two of the msges were the same, asking me how's my posting.
opened up the msg from moe.
and i was disappointed by the posting. like literally.
damn bloody disappointed to see no Film, Sound and Video in the msg.
neither did i see Audio-Visual Technology(COP - 16), Digital Visual Effects(15), Visual Communication, Media Communication(12) or Psychology Studies(9).

i was disappointed, i didnt know how to respond to it. i just screamed out loud, in pure frustration. i swear i was on the verge of crying. having retook my Os to get into the course. only for them to put it into the list of JAE courses. making the intake, half of it JAE and the other half JPSAE.

having to spend more then $100, just to prepare my portfolio. having to rush through getting the portfolio through the night, and waking up early to get the videos burnt into the dvd. did all that just to make sure its completed in time for the interview. having felt quite confident after the interview. made new friends and all.

all it needed was just one msg to make me happy or to make me feel damn disappointed. and they did just disappointed me. it was my freaking 7th choice!! not first, second or third. but seventh!! you might think i would be able to appeal. but that's not an option. why so. cause the freaking COP is 11. and what was my aggregate again?

18 points. no chance at all. i just have no idea what's wrong with those pple who can go jc and yet they choose to go poly. taking up the slots in poly, deprieving pple like me those places.

gradually accepted the fact that i was gg to nyp. even though i do NOT like the campus. damn it. did considering appealing to other courses, but no other courses seemed appealing to me. and i came to this conclusion. God has reasons for not letting me get into FSV, and i am sure God has reasons for putting me into MG&BD at nyp. so right now i am just accepting it, with a grateful heart. yup.

left home slightly earlier, went to settle some stuff for my mum and on the way janice, sharlene they all.been quite awhile since i last saw them. then went to tm, had to buy some stuff. after that headed down to payer lebar to meet my brother. had macs with him and louis.

east coast park after that. soccer from 7pm- 11pm. 4 hours and it will be the same for next week. more soccer, more soccer!!

left home at 9, caught 22.
couldnt alight at the stadium, so had to take to interchange. and i missed the bus. decided to get breakfast at macs. walked back to the bay and just nice 10 came. and i got the damn freaking cold bus again. and with the green tea i got from macs. i was literally freezing.
reached church on time. played drums, done with that then caught some sleep while waiting for the service to end. then after that drummed for mandarin service. kinda slacked during the sermon. was talking to nellie. her friend came to church, on time, for lunch. haha
bro decided to skip rt, so went down to game for a little while. headed down to town, with bro and eugene. met cor pple. played pool, then had dinner.
left at about 10, then mrt-ed home.

oh did i mention that i got a surprise, last week while i was rushing through my portfolio.
i was like doing my portfolio, then suddenly my dad called me.
in his hands, he was holding his beloved and precious camera.
he walked towards me, handed me his camera and said that its a present for me.
i looked up. TOTALLY shocked.
my bro and i, we were like HUH?!??!?!(gives a extremely blur, shocked, surprised face)

why so?
because my dad waited for a very very long time before buying that camera, specifically, Olympus E-330. and he only got it before he went for his sabatical leave two years back. and he is those type of person, where he will see something he likes alot, he will wait and wait and wait for a very very long time before deciding to buy it not. so it was a hugh surprise for me.

woke up at about 2 today, as in saturday. had my lunch and left home at 2:40 for church. music practice. was changed to 4pm for some reasons. yup. reached at around 3:40, so did some adjustments to the drumset. started at around 4:20. finished close to 7. 12-ed down to pasir ris, to uncle's house to celebrate big aunt's birthday. got lost on the way. so in the end, cabbed down.

dinnered, crapped as usual. stpeeing of feet and silly stuff. started by small aunt, like as usual. haha. after that came home. yup. thats about it for today. shall update of the previous few days.

Valentines Day, today.

honestly, its like just another normal day. i mean its like what is the point of just giving roses and presents to your loved one only on the 14th of Feb. its like just a random day set apart for 'this occasion'. like who knows, Valentines Day could be some other random day, so roses and presents can be kept for another day, or any other day. and this is how i see it, so if you want to take it personal, by all means. yup.

went out at around 3 plus, came back at 7 plus. slacked at home then headed out for dinner with family, at lavender there. its like it has been a long long time since we had a meal together as a family, like in months i think. everytime we will be like eating at our own timing nad location. yup.

got woken up by my dad at about 1030. he said will be leaving home in 1 hours' time, for grandma's place and 2 hours later, we were still at home. like kinda expected tat. took family photos and also with VV before we left and by the time we left it was like 2-3 plus already. spent the whole day at grandma's place. played a little of Wii watched tv, crapped around and asked for opinion from my uncles about the video and photos for the portfolio. went home at about 10. reached home and started doing the final preparation for the open house on sat. by the time i was done, its was close to 4am. so go figure what time i slept. haha. yup.

got woken up by a phone call from my dad. ended up quarrelling with him, no questions asked. like without fail, cny sure got this type of thing happen de. blah!! other then that helped mum prepared the food and drinks. first few pple came at about 12 plus, all the way till about 4-5 plus. luckily they came in waves, otherwise will be damn busy. was in my room for much of the afternoon. only gg out to take food and drinks, when wanted or when my mum needed help or when the drink finished up. last guest left at about 12 plus. went to sleep after cleaning up the house. yup.

Sunday, Feb 10, 2008
woke up at 7:30. headed down to yishun for the 9am service. played the drums for p&w then i left for katong after that. got breakfast at macs, trained down to dobby ghaut and 14-ed down. reached church in time. played drums for p&w, no practice. blah!! no lunch was provided after service cause pastor's house was open. didnt go. went out for lunch with bro and eugene. chicken rice, and we saw this really really pretty girl!! woah!! oops!! heh sorry.

you are still the prettiest and sexiest to me :)

headed down to plaza sing after that. did some window shopping while waiting for my bro's queue number, as he was changing his phone. after he got the phone, i suddenly remembered about my portfolio. nothing was done, except for the photos. just the photos itself. how to present?? went to times to see if could get what i wanted. failed, spotlight was next. same result. in the end went to Made With Love. ended up doing my portfolio there, as in the booklet, or whatever you want to call it. and also with Shili's help, cause she happened to be working there. yeah. bro was making most of the decisions while eugene was kind enough to help us hold our stuff. by the time we were done with it, it was past 9pm. their closing time. heh and i paid a whopping $105.05 just for the materials!! cost me a bomb. but like what my bro and the staff said. my future is in my portfolio's hands. dinner-ed at macs. ordered a McSpicy meal, with cheese. got my food, tucked in and only to realise half way tat there wasnt any cheese in the burger. went to the counter, complained. and they offered to put the cheese in into my half eaten burger. luckily i agreed, cause i was in a good mood, otherwise i would have demanded for a new burger!! oh wells. talked on the phone while waiting for the cab and also on the cab. reached home. straight away continued on the portfolio. completed the interior of the book, while printing the final selected photos. by the end of the night, it was 90% completed. just needed to choose two more pics and add in captions for the photos and also the burning of the videos and photos into a dvd.

Monday, 11 Feb, 2008

woke up at 7:30 again. heard the morning assembly. first thing i went 'SHIT!!' cause i didnt wake up for morning call. :( i am sorry!!! showered, then went over to yx's place. that was about 8:30 plus. helped me burned the stuff into the dvd. thanks!! came back. slept again at about 9:30. got woken up at 12pm by my bro, phone call. and by then i was literally rushing for time, cause my interview was at 2pm and i still got to go down to cityhall to meet my bro to settle the captions and then still got to travel to np. left home at 12:20. cabbed down to city hall. met my bro, then he and his collegue helped me with the captions. stayed at there as long as i could. by then it was 1:20pm. had to go cause i had to reach 10 mins before the interview. complicated the portfolio before i left, just needed to attach the dvd to the book. cabbed down to np. reached on time. confirmed my attendance then waited for my turn.
well, the moment i stepped into the interview room and i went YES!! in my heart. cause the interviewer was the lecturer that i talked to during the JAE when i went down to np. so wasnt feeling exactly awkward. showed him my portfolio, answered questions, explained some of the photos, the usual questions for an interview. done. went back to the waiting room, then had to wait for another 3-4 more people cause still got group interview.
group interview. total of 5 people. given this scenerio, that we had to produce a new variety show, and we had to choose three factors randomly. and also had to fit in the age group, target audience for the show, showed on local or cable tv, name of the show,number of contestants, how would the winner win, is it educational, and how long the show would be and all the stuff. and so the three factors that we chose were that the show had to do with local food, only female contestants are allowed and got to include celebrities. we were like given only 15 minutes to dicsuss then had to present it to the lecturers. brainstormed. and we ended up with this.

-name of the show, Rojak Race
-it will be something like amazing race, except that its food
-age group for female contestants, 18-45
-contestant must have a basic english standard
-show will be aired on every tuesday, on Must See Tuesday. 8-9pm
-target audience would be everyone in the public
-there will be three teams for each eposide, in pairs. where the winner will stay on for the next episode
-Adrian Pang would be the main host, with two other invited celebrities guests to attend the show
-winner for the overall season would be the person with the most wins and prize would very from Shopping, spa vouchers to instant cash.

overall it was quite okay. found out more about the people that i had the group interview with. this malay guy was about 20+, i think. cause he said he went to nyp, drop out, went to ite, drop out went to ns then came for this interview. yaa
another indian girl, i think from juring town school or something liddat. was quite quiet so didnt ask much.
another guy from Catholic High, i think his name is Andrew. was very very quiet. no much info also.
then another girl from Presbyterian High,name should be jessica if i never remember wrongly, her results. L1R4 was 9 points. and she only applied for jpsae. she didnt know that she could apply for jae as well. talked about portfolio and stuff, about the interview and stuff. quite a easy person to talk to. pity she isnt a christian. a free thinker. didnt get her email add or number cause we only knew each other and talk to each other for like what? 20-30 mins. went our seperate ways after reaching clementi mrt. she was heading to jurong, while i was heading to the east.
but i had no idea where to go. cause i was either gg to meet my friend or meet my brother for movie. in the end met my bro at his office. caught a little bit of sleep then headed down to marina after that. watched Ah Long. emmm. its still okay. to me, the story line isnt that good, but for comedy wise, its thumbs-up. yup. headed home after that. showed parents the portfolio and filled them in with the interview. slacked and slept after that.

slept till abt 2 plus. probably due to the lack of sleep i had over the past few nights, ever since friday night. bathed the dog, settled my lunch and by the time i packed my stuff, i could leave home and meet my brother at payer lebar. did exactly that. mrt-ed down, met him at macs. and a while later justin came. like a longlong time never see him la, my bro's friend. last time i saw him was 4 years ago, like when we played soccer at the carpark at midnight. classic, that was what he said. haha. bus-ed down to parkway after my bro and i finished our meal of chicken nuggets then walked to east coast. started playing soccer the moment we reached. cause today was like from 7-10 pm. justin left at 9 though. played until 10 pm, then there were like 8 of us left, then JonE had a brilliant idea of playing another hour. so ended up playing another hour from 10:20pm till 11:20. and we played in the way that which ever team let in one goal had to do 10 push ups. and it was the young team versus the old team, by the time we finished playing, i did like close to 60 push ups la. aching arms, like didnt do for like how long already la. got a lift back as usual. dinnered then, bathed, and here i am blogging. yup.

just came back from reunion dinner not too long ago. close to 3.
had a surprise this year, as AF and family were around this year and also smallest uncle.
dinner was noisy as usual, and quite crappy also.
my bro and i were the victims of the night. cause my brother was wearing a Hush Puppies shirt, and instead of 'Hush Puppies' on the shirt, it was 'HP'. so what happened was my uncle started calling him Horrible Person. lol then i wanted my bro to take food for me, then i started calling him, 'Bro'. then my smallest aunt was like, 'if sister is called as sis, then shouldnt brother be called as 'bra' instead of bro?' so for the rest of the night, we were all calling him bra, and i had no idea how did i get the name of panties. like blah them la!! haha
finished dinnered, played my bro's psp. then after that played with my uncle's Wii. its real fun i tell you. like literally. haha.
received angbaos as usual, then slacked till around 2 plus. sent grandma and big aunt back then came home. yup.

some how, i just dun have the cny feeling. oh wells. =/

alright, i just came back from soccer not too long ago.
initially played from 8-10pm, but was extended to 11pm. yup.
tired and hungry is how i am feeling right now.
haven had anything to eat after that prawn mee i had at 6pm.
blah!!

well, woke up at usual time. talked a little longer today.
went back to sleep, only to be woken up by my mum, telling me to bathe the dog.
nugget her.
eventually, i woke up, at about 1pm.
bathed the dog, had my brunch and showered.
went down to tampines central to help my mum collect her pants, and also for some other reasons.
pop-ed by CS, then went to the coffee shop at my place.
bought food for my mum, then was at the void deck.
went home after that. packed my stuff and left.
met my bro at Payer Lebar mrt, bus-ed down to parkway, had something to eat, then walked to east coast.
slacked at macs as we were kinda early, then went down when it was about time.
guess thats about it.

was on the phone till 3am last night.
luckily could wake up on time. left house at usual time
but i totally fell asleep while on the bus, on my way to church.
alone as usual, didnt even bother to wake my brother up. =/
played drums for hokkien service.
to be honest, i was half asleep.
went out for breakfast after that. yeah, i wasnt feeling lazy.
after that was quite awake.
then played for mandarin service.
felt that the P&W today was relatively good.
think gg to get a copy of the recording from pastor. blah!!
lunch-ed as usual and nelson was crapping away again.
other then that was kinda quiet.
Nellie didnt go church today due to tuition, last time to see Serene around for a longlong time as she's leaving for Melbourne next Sunday.
left at about 3pm.
slept on the bus again, bro alighted at Bedok camp.
took all the way to interchange, cause was raining.
but either way, i still got caught in the rain, cause i had to cross the road.
then had a bad headache, went to sleep at around 5.30pm
a series of phone calls and msgs woke me up. nugget them!!
eventually, i woke up at 11plus.
talked on the phone for awhile, then dinnered.
came online. yup.
and i am feling sleepy, again.
i am turning into a pig. blah!!
