FMS camp wasn't quite what i expected. from the time that i have spent there.
apparently. yes apparently, AGAIN(if you get what i mean), i only spent 2-3 hours at the camp.
book out of the camp, with Alyssa, LunXi, Adin and Adelyn to go for the Planetshakers and Tim Hughes concert at Expo. only for Adin and Adelyn to change their mind at the very last minute.
go figure, on why Adelyn was there.
the queuing up for the entry at Expo wasn't organised at all. there was no definite lines for ticket holders and non-ticket holders. but never the less, the whole event was good. i would not call it a concert, just feel that it isn't the correct word to use. the sharing as short and sweet and the aim of the sharing was just right there.
God is the centre of Everything, not us.
simple as that.
one night, three songs touched me.
the last time something like this happened was FOP last year.
Beautiful Saviour - Planetshakers
Here I am to Worship - Tim Hughes
How Great is Our God - Chris Tomlin's song; but Tim Hughes sang it
It was just fantastic.
ooh!! one thing. up till now, i have no idea how did Tim Hughes ended up singing Mighty To Save and One Way. haha. like i was telling Alyssa, while on the way home, i wouldn't be surprised if he did actually start singing History Maker. haha. i was a little disappointed, as there wasnt any drum solo for Mighty To Save, for the pre-chorus and also for How Great is Our God. oh wells.
kinda left straight after purchasing the cd. Train-ed down to Eunos, and 154-ed down to Clementi. for some certain reason, the three of us didn't feel like booking in, back for camp. so we were just sitting there at the bus stop, at 12am, figuring out what to do. decided to go back into campus, as i needed to use the toilet. after that, walked down to KAP macs. so some how we were there for the whole night, crapping away. from 12 am plus all the way to 7 am. well, i shall admit that we were wrong in giving them wrong information. but guess what, they did not even give us a call, throughout the whole night. so much for responsibility. it was a major disappointment. alright, like what i was saying. crapping away for the whole night. details on what happened shall not be revealed. but we were some how hooked on the words 'apparently; fair enough; rightsss; okayyy' and some other words, as far as i can remember. well, at least to me. i had fun, and i totally did not regret booking out of camp, going for the event and not booking back in again.
NO REGRETS AT ALL!!
the only thing that i regretted was that there were no pics from the event or from the session at KAP. thats all.
initially had plans to go for the second night. but somehow, i overslept, when i had set three alarms between 2:58pm - 3:05 pm. only to be woken up by Alyssa's msg at 3:20pm. apparently, there was no reply from LunXi, and I wasn't feeling too well. throat was feeling very tight, up till now also. so everything was scrapped. this is something that i regret. cause i am almost certain that it would be better then the first night. oh wells. now i can't wait for FOP this year. so looking forward to it. =)
