took calls for the first half of the day..and its like the first call i took of the day was an angry customer liao la..haha..did my best to handle it..turned out okay la..lol..then after tat a couple of calss regarding the ncd rate and expiry of policies..

then got this call..from some customer..i roughly type out the conversation bah..lol..

me:good morning.ntuc income.vicson here, how may i help you?
customer:*did the greetings and stuff*..i give you the policy number.
me:okay..sure..
customer:***********
me:*did the verification..cause was a life policy*may i have you address..i/c number..contact number and hp no.
customer:*gave all..all correct*
me:so how may i help you?
customer:actually..i am calling on my son's behalf..*talk a whole lot of crap..blablabla*..
me:'okay-ing and uh-huhing all the way'
customer:*so finally her request*can you send me the loan statement tat my son took last year..so tat can keep track of it?
me:i am sorry but i cant do tat unless yur son call in himself..
customer:*starts arguing liao*but my son just got a new job and he is very busy and he ask me to call..
me:i understand..but our hotlines are on a 24/7 service.
customer:*continues to argue*this kind of small thing aslo cant do..like wat can i do with the statement??
me:'thinking: like how on earth would i know wat you plan to do with the statement if you got other motive??'
customer:*continues..*like if i never say tat i am the mother..how would you know tat i am not the ph if i verify everything correctly??

here's the catch..you definetly sound like a lady..

and on the record shown to me you are a guy la..

so how is tat possible??haha..right??

customer:*continues scolding me and ntuc income..say wat bad service we have..blablabla*

and she hung up on me..haha..i was like laughing all the way la..not into the phone though..lol..then after just before lunch time..got another difficult customer..wants to claim on travel insurance..could not handle in the end eve helped me handle..haha..then back from lunch had training on life policies..still okay la..not very boring..cause serene took us..then after tat lexie..knocked off at 1730..well..she claimed tat the contracts states 1730..like wateva!!haha..then went home los..yup..
